Selling ProcessUpdated 5 months ago

At MyNextBike, we aim to make the selling process as straightforward as possible. Unlike other marketplaces, we’re here to assist with every step of your selling journey, from listing your bike to handling the delivery and payment.

Please note that all bikes on our platform will either be collected by our specialist bike courier or collected directly by the buyer. In both cases, we manage the entire process.

Here's How the Selling Process Works

  1. List your bike: The first step is to list your bike. You can do that directly here. For more details on how to list, please refer to this article.

  2. Receive queries and offers: Once your bike is listed, you will receive queries and offers from interested buyers. Buyers cannot purchase the bike directly, so whether they want to buy at the asking price or make an offer for a lower price, all details will be sent to you via email. Please note, these details are not available in your seller account at this stage.

  3. Review offers: You can accept, reject, or make a counteroffer. Once a price is agreed, the buyer will receive a payment link to complete the purchase. All payments must be completed on the platform, whether the buyer chooses to collect in person or have the bike shipped.

  4. Notification and collection details: Once the buyer has completed the payment, you will be notified and provided with details about whether they wish to collect the bike in person or have it shipped.

  5. Bike collection: Either our specialist courier or the buyer will collect the bike. If our courier collects, there is no need to disassemble the bike—simply hand it over, and they will ship it straight to the buyer. Each transit is insured up to £50k, so you are protected in case of damage or loss. For more details, refer to this article.

  6. Buyer confirmation: Once the bike arrives, the buyer has 48 hours to confirm it has “arrived as described” as part of our policy to prevent mis-selling. Please note that buyers cannot return the bike for reasons like changing their mind. As long as you accurately describe the bike in your listing, there should be no issues. In the rare event of a return, we will handle return shipping costs back to you. Payment will be released once the 48-hour confirmation period ends.
