ReturnsUpdated 5 months ago
At MyNextBike, we offer a buyer protection policy that allows buyers to return the bike if they believe they have been mis-sold. Mis-selling is defined as a situation where the bike arrives "not as described," such as when the condition significantly differs from what was listed, or if the wrong model or manufacturing year is provided. For a detailed list of what constitutes "not as described," please refer to this article.
Return Process:
- Buyers must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the bike if it has arrived "not as described." We will independently verify this claim before proceeding with the return process.
- If there is a valid reason for return, we will give both the buyer and the seller the option to negotiate a reduced price, which may be used to cover repair costs if damage is found that was not disclosed in the listing.
- If we determine that the return is justified, we will ship the bike back to you immediately and cover any return shipping costs.
Can the Buyer Return the Bike for Any Reason?
No, the buyer can only return the bike if it has arrived "not as described," and we agree with their claim. Buyers cannot return the bike simply because they’ve changed their mind or if the bike is the wrong size, as long as these details were accurately listed.
What Happens If the Buyer Claims the Bike Has "Arrived Not As Described" but I Don’t Agree?
If we receive a claim from the buyer, we will check it against the original listing and ask for your comments on the dispute. We will only approve a return after investigating the situation and deciding in favor of the buyer, if applicable.
What Happens If the Courier Damages the Bike?
While our couriers take great care to protect the bike during transit, accidents can happen. To help us verify if damage occurred before, during, or after transit, our couriers take photos of the bike at the time of collection. If the bike is damaged or lost during transit, you will be paid in full within the same sales period timeframe.
