Receiving Offers and QueriesUpdated 5 months ago

Managing Offers and Questions from Buyers

When a buyer makes an offer or asks a question about your bike, you will receive the details directly via email. You may also get reminders via WhatsApp or SMS. We encourage sellers to respond as quickly as possible to ensure a smooth buying experience. If there is no response within 24-48 hours, we may remove your bike from the platform. This helps us maintain an active and responsive marketplace.

Even if a buyer agrees to the asking price, the details will come to you as an offer. This ensures that you confirm the sale before the buyer can proceed with purchasing.

How to Respond to Offers and Questions
Once you've received an offer or question, you can respond directly by following the links in the email.

For offers, you can:

  1. Accept - The buyer will be notified and sent a payment link to complete the purchase.

  2. Reject - If the offer is too low, you can reject it. The buyer has the option to make a new offer. We encourage sellers to counteroffer instead of rejecting outright, even if it's for the asking price or slightly below, with a reason. This can increase the likelihood of a sale.

  3. Make a Counteroffer - Buyers can accept or make a new offer. Once a price is agreed upon, the buyer will be sent a payment link to complete the purchase.

Important Notes:

  1. All transactions must be completed securely on the MyNextBike platform. We do not allow cash payments or off-platform transactions, even for in-person pickups.

  2. Offers are non-binding. Accepting an offer does not mean the buyer is obligated to purchase. Approximately 70% of accepted offers lead to a sale.

  3. You can accept multiple offers, as we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. The first buyer to complete the purchase will get the bike.
